This is going to be an amazing day! Northern Rocks is partnering with We Are Explorers to bring you this Kathmandu Women’s Intro to Bouldering day and Yoga Class :)

Would you like to try climbing / bouldering but don’t know where to start? This female-focused workshop on International Women’s Day features 3 hours of learning how to rock climb indoors at Auckland’s best bouldering gym with rad female climbing instructors. This will be followed by a 1 hour yoga and mobility class to stretch it all out with an experienced teacher. If you’re feeling brave, you can keep climbing at the gym for the rest of the day on your own!

What To Bring: Comfortable clothes (such as tights or loose exercise pants and a comfortable sports singlet or t-shirt), drinks bottle, food/snacks, socks, personal medications, climbing shoes (if have own, otherwise rental climbing shoes are provided).

Each participant will need to fill out a facility waiver before the event:

Ticket Includes: Kathmandu gift, Kathmandu discount vouchers, female climbing instructors with a ratio of 1:6, small group experience (20 participants max), shoe hire, all-day facility use, yoga/mobility session, yoga mats provided for use.

Your bouldering coaches will be National Champion Athletes Sarah Hay Climbing (Partner, Northern Rocks), Sian Moffitt and NR Coach Carole Tilman. Kate Montgomery will be taking the yoga class.
